It's been ages since I've sent out an email, so I thought it was time to catch up with everyone. Happy Spring
! We've gotten busy with a lot of retreat groups visiting our area. We are always so glad to see those that have been in before and all of their friends that are visiting for the first time!! Remember we always offer retreat groups a 10% discount, you just have to remind us that you are with a group!
This Friday, May 6th Carmella is doing another tablerunner class. This one is called "Abbey Star Runner" and it's an easy twist on a star. There are still several spots available. Please stop in and sign up if you are interested.
Next Friday, May 13 Mary Lou will be continuing with her BOM group doing the Symphony In Sea. Those in the group mark your calendars! Only a couple more months after this to try to finish the project!
Monday, May 16th is our regular American Sewing Guild meeting here at the shop. We start by10:30am and usually go til lunch. Anyone in the group who would like to stay and sew is welcome to do that.
Mary Lou and I will be attending the spring Quilt Market trade show this year. We will be leaving Wednesday, May18th and returning Sunday, May 22nd. We are excited to see what new ideas we can bring back to the shop!
Carmella, Sheryl and Peggy will be doing a great job for us of holding down the fort. Come by and say hello, they may even have some surprise specials.
We went to the Forks quilt show in April and had a good time seeing and visiting with old and new friends. If you have never been to Forks for their quilt show, you should make a note to do so next spring. The ladies do a great show for the size of their town and they are all so very friendly!
Don't forget we will be open EVERY day for the summer starting with Tuesday, May 24th!!
Last but not least, we are working hard to get our website store open by the end of May. Just a few policy issues to iron out the bugs and we're good to go!
Thanks again for you interest and support!
